A couple times a year, we gather fellow travel enthusiasts on a journey to the northern part of Taiwan, to experience culture, art, nature & culinary delights.

Embark on an Unforgettable Journey to Taiwan

Have you ever dreamt of traveling to Asia but felt a bit intimidated by the unknown? I’d like to invite you to join me and my very good friend, Beth, on a guided retreat to Taiwan, where you’ll experience the island like never before!

Scroll down to see details of what we have planned and a link to reserve your spot.

Our cultural retreats are so much more than a tour through Taiwan. They are all-inclusive luxurious 7 days, 8 nights and are thoughtfully designed to help you explore this unique part of Asia comfortably. We’ll be your translators and guides giving you enriching experiences, a deeper understanding of the Taiwanese culture and yourself, time for reflections and healing massages, all while exploring, eating delicious foods and staying in beautiful accommodations.

You’ll be immersed in the vibrant energy of Taiwanese culture and art. From the lively streets of Taipei & Taichung to the serene beauty of hidden gems in smaller villages, we’ll take you on a journey that blends iconic landmarks with lesser-known treasures. With plenty of exploration, you’ll experience Taiwan up close. We’ve got all the details covered, so you can focus on living in the moment, feeling inspired, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

The street food is nothing short of AMAZING! And we highly recommend a hair wash - the 20 minute massage will blow your mind!

You’ll learn so much about Taiwan’s culture throughout this retreat. We’ll teach you how to order your tea in Mandarin Chinese and a few fun and helpful phrases to help you feel like a local in no time. Together we’ll explore Taiwan’s seaside & mountain towns, feast on mouth-watering local foods, chat with friendly locals in their own language, and stay in luxurious accommodations.

What to Expect in Taiwan

Taiwan is a small island off the coast of China, known for its warm hospitality and rich cultural influences. You’ll be greeted with smiles and laughter everywhere you go. Taiwan’s unique culture is a fusion of Chinese, Dutch, and Japanese elements, creating a truly one-of-a-kind experience. You can’t help but feel creatively inspired in this rich culture!

We’ll guide you through Taiwan’s two largest cities (Taipei & Taichung), where modern life mixes with traditional elements. Expect bustling night markets, neon lights that rival Las Vegas, and an energy that’s contagious. Scooters zip by, and you’ll be swept up in the vibrant rhythm of everyday life.

Taiwan has lush mountains and beautiful ocean views. We’ll take day trips to mountain towns, seaside villages with incredible views, and introduce you to the artistic lifestyle in Taiwan from pottery villages to woodworking villages. Your soul will feel creatively full and you’ll experience SO MUCH on this retreat!

We’ve also included plenty of down-time so that you can take advantage of massages (we can’t wait to introduce you to the Taiwanese foot massage), time to reflect on everything you see and do, & some solo exploration, if you’d like.

Because we’re all about food and believe that cuisine is a large part of making a trip excellent, we’ll not only try all the snacks and mouth watering teas Taiwan is famous for (did you know Bubble Tea was created in Taiwan? We’ll take you to the original tea shop!) but you’ll also get 3 delicious meals each day. As Taiwan has roots in many cultures, the menu of this trip will also be diverse. However, if your goal is to eat dumplings every day, we can help make that happen too, outside of scheduled meal times.

What we have planned:

Since many flights arrive in the evening, we'll start with a restful night at a beautiful hotel near the airport and head south the next morning

To see the majority of the Northern part of Taiwan, we will stay in 3 different luxurious hotels (including the first night hotel)

8 nights/7 days in a luxury room: You’ll have your own bed and depending on what you choose, either a private room + bath or a shared room + bath (If you do not have a room-mate, we are happy to set you up with one)

3 delicious meals each day including a daily Taiwan tea while we’re out exploring

We will have drivers who will move us from each location in comfortable and safe vans

Guided tours through Taiwan’s two largest cities, Taichung & Taipei, with day trips to mountain villages and seaside villages

Excursions to the markets to engage with the locals, explore arts, handcrafts and taste some local treats

Day trips to see artisans at work in a woodworking village and pottery village

We’ll paint and release large sky lanterns in a serene mountain village and visit monkeys in the forest (don’t worry, we can’t get too close to touch)

Time to rejuvenate (including time for massages) to integrate all of the good vibes of Taiwan, connecting with new friends and your self

One foot massage is included in your retreat

A goodie bag with items that will help you enjoy your retreat to the fullest.

Our retreat ends in Taipei, a great spot if you choose to extend your trip and explore the city further

Why Travel with Us?

Beth and I are so excited to be your local experts! And we are deeply passionate about sharing our love for the island. We’ve worked with countless travelers to craft their dream trips, and we’re sure the retreat we have designed will exceed your expectations. We’ll be by your side to ensure everything goes smoothly, from logistics to communication. You can relax and immerse yourself in this incredible destination without worrying about a thing.

Beth & I both lived in Taiwan during the same years and we explored every nook & cranny of the island. We’ll show you the very best of this vibrant country – from the buzzing city streets to the serene landscapes, all while making sure you’re well taken care of every step of the way. We promise you will fall in love with Taiwan, just as we and our families, and others we have taken around Taiwan have.

A few things to consider before reserving your spot:

There is a lot of walking on this retreat. Expect 10,000+ steps each day.

The sidewalks and walkways in Taiwan are very uneven. We like to call it “Urban Hiking”. As a result, this trip is not wheelchair friendly.

Unfortunately, we cannot cater to any strict dietary restrictions based on the availability in some of the smaller villages we will be visiting. We’re happy to chat about this further with you and possibly come up with some solutions.

We will be staying in accommodations many stories tall, please let us know if using an elevator will pose challenges for you.

Let’s make your dream trip to Taiwan a reality –

Your journey of a lifetime awaits!

Want to know a little more about Me & Beth?

We’re happy to introduce ourselves here

“I had the pleasure of taking a retreat in Taiwan with Tricia as our guide and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I hated to see come to an end! We didn’t just get to experience the ‘touristy’ things, we got to immerse ourselves in the Taiwanese culture which was so enriching.

Tricia’s tips and guidance along the way helped us to get the most out of every adventure we were on and ensured that we were aware of their customs so as to treat anyone we encountered with proper respect. Her local knowledge allowed us to have experiences any one just going it on their own would probably not have access to or would even know about. If you are considering a retreat to Taiwan, I would highly recommend going with Tricia & Beth and letting them help to make it more than just a vacation… it will be a fantastic experience, one you will always remember!”

Jodi S.

You can’t imagine how cool this retreat was for us, and Tricia made it unforgettable!”
